SEPEEG 2016 – Madison, FL, 21-23 October
The 43rd annual Southeastern Population Ecology and Evolutionary Genetics meeting (SEPEEG, pronounced “seepage”) will be held on the weekend of October 21-23 at Camp Cherry Lake in Madison, Florida. Details on the venue are here (scroll to the bottom of the page for directions).
SEPEEG provides a friendly, informal setting for students, postdocs, and faculty to meet, talk science and relax around the campfire. The meeting will feature awards for best student talks and posters, and a keynote presentation by Robert D Holt, Eminent Scholar and Arthur R. Marshall, Jr., Chair in Ecology at UF. Its a fun and intellectually stimulating meeting – we look forward to seeing you in Madison!
The meeting will be hosted by the University of Florida Department of Biology. Registration will remain open until October 16, 2016, and costs $125/person (this price includes food and lodging).
The American Society of Naturalists has generously provided funds for student members of the society (more info on joining ASN here). **The first 40 student ASN members to sign up will receive a $50 reimbursement at (or just after) the meeting – the SEPEEG discount more than offsets the cost of joining the society.**
