Congrats!: McDaniel lab awards and updates

Alex Powell graduated with highest honors with a project on genetic variation in response to non-circadian conditions in Physcomitrella patens.

Shawn Abrahams was awarded a PLANTS fellowship to attend Botany2013 in New Orleans this summer, and a 2013-2014 University Scholars Program fellowship to study the genetics of life history variation in Ceratodon purpureus in the lab starting next fall.

Claudia Henriquez graduated and took a field research position at the University of Alberta studying Columbian ground squirrels.

Tatum Norrell (not pictured) graduated and is joining AmeriCorps in Denver.

Karen Beaulieu (not pictured) graduated and took a position at the Mao lab here at UF.
